Marine Facilities and Repair

Provincetown Marina on Fishermen’s Wharf (VHF Ch 9 or Telephone (508) 487-0571) offers 30 slips reserved for transients and 100 moorings of which 50 are available for visiting yachts.  The facility can accommodate yachts up to 75 feet in length.

The facility does have toilets, showers, ice and pump-out services.  Staff provides docking assistance and engine, air conditioning and refrigeration repairs.  There are also mail and package holding services.  There is a fuel dock.  Water and electric is available on the pontoons.  There is 24-hour security and a night watch.

 Moorings and Launch Facilities

Moorings may be rented from Provincetown Marina and Flyer’s Boat Yard.  The Yacht Club also has a limited number of moorings available for visiting yachts.  For information regarding Yacht Club moorings and their availability, contact the Yacht Club directly.

Launch and Haul-out services may be obtained by calling the Harbormaster or Flyer’s Boat Yard.  In addition, a public launch area and ramp is available at the West End Parking Lot.  This is located on Commercial Street past the Coast Guard Station.  The ramp can be accessed best from Bradford Street by turning down Franklin Street, then right on to Commercial Street.  The West End parking lot will be clearly visible on the left approximately four blocks after the Coast Guard Station.  Boats must be launched around high tide at all locations.  It is a 10 foot tide, so 1 to 2 hours either side of high tide it is possible to launch both centerboard and keel boats.

Parking and Trailer Storage

The West End Parking Lot is a small-metered public parking lot and parking is available on a first come first serve basis.  However, there is space available for trailers, which may be stored in designated areas.  Trailer storage is also available on MacMillan Pier by contacting the Harbormaster.

Marine Supplies

In addition to Flyer's Boat Yard, marine supplies, boat parts and charts are available from Land's End Marine Supply, a True Value Hardware store at 337 Commercial St (508-487-0784) and Marine Specialties, which also sells military surplus, at 235 Commercial St. (508-487-1730).

Fuel and Pump Out

Provincetown Marina maintains a fuel dock located on the west side of Fishermen’s Pier.

The harbor maintains a pump-out boat as well as a shore side facility, which is funded through the Clean Vessel Act and provides pump-out services for no charge.  For pump-out information or a request contact:
