Welcome! PYC has a vibrant racing community. For the 2025 season we had two Saturday race series:

• Series I ran every Saturday from June 28, 2025 to August 2, 2025

• Series II ran from August 9, 2025 to September 13, 2025.

The race committee uses standard courses, chosen on race day depending on wind conditions. We often run multiple races on race day. We use a handicap system so that all boats may compete, though the majority of the fleet is generally sailboats under 20’.

Races start at 2PM in Provincetown Harbor. We welcome all boats & crews, whether you are a club member or not. We use a handicap racing system (PHRF).

Upcoming Races

The 2025 Racing Season is finished; 26 races were held between June 28 and September 13.

Updates:

• On August 23rd, we posted a helpful tuning guide for Rhodes 19s on the Resources for Racers page.

• On July 25th, the Racing Chart was updated to include a compass rose (making it clearer that the top of the chart is North) and a map scale. No other changes were made. Specifically the coordinates of the race marks are the same.
